Accompanying Program
Throughout the entire event (12:00–18:00), you can enjoy a variety of activities. The accompanying program is completely free. The event will be hosted by Honza Witek, and DJ Koko will take care of the music.
- ČSAP (Czech AIDS Help Society) will provide free testing for HIV and other STIs
- Activity stations for kids by IKEA
- Sports activities with ALCEDO: badminton, volleyball, foot tennis
- Petanque – you can borrow equipment on site and play on the field
- Picnic blankets available to borrow for relaxing on the grass
- At the Foodora tent, join a meet-up by Queer & Trans Youth – a great chance to make new queer friends and take a calm walk along the race route if large crowds and noise aren’t your thing
- Photo booth
- sbarvouven.cz counseling booth – celebrating 10 years! Complete a short quiz and win original tattoos by Honza Chabr or Pedro Pascal stickers
- Rainbow Ribbon booth – purchase a symbol of support for LGBT+ people and support the activities of Prague Pride
- At the Nivea booth, you can get an InBody scan or use the skin analysis machine
- #doledobry stand of the Loono organization: you will learn how to prevent and detect sexually transmitted diseases, where to go if you find yourself in this situation, learn about prevention and treatment of infertility, as well as about the still taboo topics of incontinence and erectile dysfunction. There will also be a practical workshop: you will be able to see models of the human pelvis and learn about the function of the different organs. All this is done under the guidance of medical students and young doctors who will be happy to answer any additional questions.
- BEST:TIME will be there with a booth offering sportswear – including their rainbow activewear collection. Every purchase supports Fun&Run!
Good to Know
The Plechárna venue has everything you need: toilets, showers, changing rooms, food and drink stalls.
You’ll find our main partner Bar B52 with great drinks, IKEA’s sandwich booth and a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks: beer, prosecco, homemade lemonades, ice cream, burgers, poke, tacos.
All stalls will accept card payments.
Dogs are welcome – and they can even join you for the run!
High Heel Run – a limited selection of shoes will be available for borrowing, but sizes and options are limited, so bringing your own is best.
Registrations for the 5k, 10k and high heels run are CLOSED. It is now no longer possible to register (even on site) for the race and compete for placings and prizes. A badge can be purchased on site for 200 CZK, with which you can participate in the run without measuring the running time.
The best way to get to Černý Most is by public transport (bus stop Bryksova, metro Černý Most). You can only park at the Černý Most department store or IKEA, but you definitely can’t park around Plechárna.
Race route
the route is 5 km, the 10 km race will run the route twice
About the event
The proceeds from the event will be used to support the activities of the Prague Pride association, which have a real impact on the lives of queer people in our country. These include the support services of the sbarvouven.cz counselling centre and the LGBT+ Community Centre, the fight for justice and equal rights for LGBTQ+ people and their families through the Jsme fér initiative, the education of teachers within the ucimolgbt.cz project, support for rainbow families, as well as the largest cultural and human rights event for queer people in our country – the Prague Pride Festival. Part of the proceeds will also go towards the activities of Prague’s House of Light, a centre providing support to people living with HIV. The event is organised by Prague Pride and the Czech AIDS Aid Society to mark the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia (IDAHOT), which commemorates the removal of homosexuality from the International Classification of Diseases by the WHO on the 17th of May 1990.
